Common troubleshooting guides and workflow FAQ.
Q: I lost my habits/journal data. What happened?
Since Workflare Track stores data in browser **Local Storage**, the data will be lost if you:
- Run a privacy cleaning utility (like CCleaner or browser-cleaner extensions) that clears cookies and local storage.
- Manually clear browser cache/history and check the option to "Clear site settings and data".
- Access the application in **Private / Incognito** mode (the browser clears this storage once the window closes).
To prevent data loss, please use the **JSON Export** button inside the app to regularly save backups to your computer.
Q: Can I sync my habits between mobile and desktop?
Yes! By exporting your data to a JSON backup file on your desktop, sending that file to your phone, and using the **Import Backup** function in the app on your mobile browser, you can seamlessly migrate or sync your progress.
Q: The app doesn't let me type or check off boxes.
Ensure that Local Storage is enabled in your browser settings. Some strict privacy browsers block local storage writes by default, which prevents Alpine.js from syncing data.
